We have identified the energy, water and commodity industry as well as environmental technology, mobility and life sciences as key growth markets of the future.


Our Mission
  • We are committed to offering the best possible solution to meet specific requirements – from plastics (selection of material) and products (process engineering) to packaging and transport. This is considered our most important "unique selling proposition" for all markets worldwide. We want to be the primary point of contact for our customers in the international markets of relevance to our business.
  • Our products make a contribution when it comes to addressing key challenges facing society as a whole.
  • We have far-reaching expertise in process engineering with regard to the manufacture of semi-finished thermoplastics and the modification of such products for specific fields of application.
  • We offer valuable complementary services in the form of technical consulting.

Our Business Objectives
  • In 2014, we aim to generate annual revenue of EUR 500 million within the SIMONA Group.
  • We want to achieve above-average growth in the emerging economies of Asia and Eastern Europe (including Russia) as well as South America and capture an additional share of the market.
  • As regards the mature European markets, we want to secure our market share and generate growth through new applications.
  • Our aim is to maintain an EBIT margin of more than 5 per cent p.a.
  • As part of our strategic development, we are open to the possibility of corporate acquisitions.
