Tankdesigner in action
SIMONA's Technical Service Centre performs tank-related calculations with the aid of Tankdesigner. The basis of calculation is DIN 4741 for ventilation ducts, together with DIN EN 12573-1, DIN EN 12573-2 and DVS 2205 Parts 1, 2 and 5. The software application was developed as part of a joint project initiated by SIMONA AG and FAB-Consult. It is updated on a regular basis to ensure best-in-class functionality.

Calculation options for various types of tank
Tankdesigner combines a number of features for high-performance calculation within the field of tank engineering, e.g. calculations relating to verifiable structural properties or ventilation ducts. An evaluation version can be downloaded free of charge at www.tankdesigner.com .

The design scope of the standard program is as follows:
-    Rectangular tanks (standard, with full-perimeter cross-rib or yoke reinforcement)
-    Cylindrical tanks (standard, graduated, dual shell)
-    Rectangular ventilation lines
-    Cylindrical ventilation lines

Prices and licences
Tankdesigner is available in a full-licence or partial-licence version. The partial licence allows you to use individual modules of the software for a specific licence period (controlled via Transaction Numbers)

	Partial licence:
	Calculation of structural details for all program modules for 7 days		€ 350,-
	Calculation of structural details for all program modules for 24 hours		€ 150,-

¹ Amounts already paid for partial licences will count towards full licence.
